The Cubs participated in a bit of good-natured ribbing, as their rookies were made to dress like different super heroes. Some players, like Jorge Soler, got off easy.
Other rookies, like Javier Baez, were not as fortunate.
Among the rest of the rookies there were hits and misses. Eric Jokisch’s Luigi look oddly enough seemed to work for him. On the other side of the spectrum, there’s Justin Grimm, who somehow ended up as Princess Leia.
We could go into a debate on whether or not Princess Leia technically considered a super hero, but that’s a story for a different time.
