RELATED: Cult of the Lamb: Every Doctrine (And Which Ones To Pick)

Many of these forms can be found organically, by Crusading, doing side quests, fishing, and even in vending machines. There is one, however, that is a bit more hidden than the others. The Snail Form is a special hidden Follower Form that players will need to unlock if they want to collect them all and snag the Full Flock Achievement. Here’s how to find and unlock the Snail Form in Cult of the Lamb.

How To Find Snail Shells

In order to unlock the Snail Follower Form, players will first need to collect some Snail Shells. These items come from small green-colored Snails that can be found skulking around certain rooms during a Crusade. When players spot one, they’ll simply need to eliminate it with a Curse or by striking it with their weapon. Doing so will reward the Lamb with a Snail Shell, and players will need to get their hands on five of them total to unlock the Secret Follower Form.

Snails are most abundant in the Darkwood and Anura areas (Zones 1 and 2 respectively), but it is possible for them to show up in the Anchordeep or the Silk Cradle (although it’s a much rarer occurrence in these locations). Once players have their hands on all five shells, they can move on to the next step of unlocking the form.

Finding The Five Snail Statues

In order to unlock the Snail Follower Form, players need to find five Snail Statues located in each of the “outposts” of the overworld map and interact with them. Interacting with a statue will absorb one of the players’ Snail Shells, which is why they’ll need five total. There are five total statues, with one located in the Lonely Shack, Pilgrim’s Passage, Spore Grotto, Smuggler’s Sanctuary, and Midas’s Cave. Those that are struggling to find the statues can see their locations in the gallery below (in order).

Once players slot the last Snail Statue, they’ll be instantly rewarded with the Snail Follower Form, and can then head back to their Cult and change the appearance of a new Cultist that they wish to indoctrinate into the group.
